There’s no SEO @Facebook
Mike Wasylik @Copyblogger.com affirmed what I’ve tested and observed over the past 18 months – Facebook & LinkedIn type sites do nothing for SEO. Their “walled in” or “behind the wall” communities do not contribute to your “page rank” or search engine placement. The shear volume of members allows your site to get traffic, but most of the traffic comes from “curiosity clicks” and not “potential buyer” clicks.
Should you continue your social networking activities? YES
Should you count on social networking activities to pay your bills? NO

@bizOmundo got discovered by robot spammers from hell over the weekend. Over 48 spam accounts and website/blogs created in less that 48 hours… and I had registration turned off most of that time.
I was finishing up the front page redesign and saw 3 new members and got way excited and wondered if Monica McPherrin gave us another plug… When I recognized that the usenames and blogs were the type that spam robots create. My heart sank.
As of now, I have registrations shut down – not user very user friendly but better that 6 to 8 spam accounts being created every hour… If you want an account, contact me using the contact form and I will get you set-up.
Meanwhile, I’m researching what the big boys do…
Fun with Bozo
Last week I made a typo that had my friend Mindy laughing for several days. I typed “bozOmundo” intstead of bizOmundo” – which got me a picture of Bozo the Clown.
